Recognizing Excellence in Wisconsin's School Business Officials

WASBO is fortunate to count among its ranks many outstanding District Professionals who work tirelessly on behalf of their school districts and Wisconsin's children. In recognition of the tremendous work our members perform, WASBO has created several annual awards to honor those who truly go above and beyond in their service to their school district, their community, and WASBO. These awards are an opportunity to showcase WASBO members' contributions to their districts, and to provide the public with a better understanding of the exemplary work WASBO members do to benefit students.

*Award nominations for the 2025 Wisconsin School Business Office Professional of the Year are due November 17, 2025. Award nominations for the 2026 Wisconsin Custodian & Maintenance Professional of the Year are due May 6, 2026.

November 14, 2025

WASBO Award nominations are due for the 2025 Wisconsin School Business Office Professional of the Year. Submit your nominations at WASBO.com/SBOPAward!

December 2025

2025 Wisconsin School Business Office Professional of the Year Recognized at the 2025 School Business Office Professionals Conference (December 12-13, 2025, at the Kalahari).

January 7, 2026

WASBO Award nominations are due.

January 2026

WASBO Award Recipients are selected by the Board of Directors and appropriate selection committees.

February 2026

WASBO Executive Director notifies WASBO Award Recipients of their selection.

May 8, 2026

Nominations due for 2026 Custodian & Maintenance Professional of the Year Awards. Submit your nominations at WASBO.com/CustodialAward!
