2021 Day of Giving - Feeding Wisconsin

Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. This year, we offer our support to Feeding Wisconsin as they work to help the families in our communities to thrive!

100% of all donations will benefit Feeding Wisconsin.

Feeding Wisconsin and its member food banks deliver benefits throughout the state of Wisconsin, feeding over 173, 500 children annually.

Using the monetary donations, federal aid dollars and donations from retailers, food companies and agriculture producers, more than 40 million meals are provided to Wisconsin Families each year. These meals are 100% free of cost for those in need.

Each year, more than 600,000 members of our communities seek emergency food through the partners of Feeding Wisconsin. The COVID-19 crisis has created additional food insecurity in our state. Food banks and pantries are working harder than ever to navigate the challenges of supply to meet a growing demand. Children learning virtually instead of in the classroom has added the additional challenge of needing to provide more nutritious breakfasts and lunches.

As of March 2021, Feeding Wisconsin estimated that 1 in 8 people, including 1 in 5 children, experienced food insecurity in 2020. Although this number is slowly improving, we have a long way to go and many mouths to feed!

Please consider making a tax deductible donation to support Feeding Wisconsin and their work to make sure no child goes hungry.
