Registration Rates & Cancellation Policies

WASBO Foundation Spring Conference registration rates include general & concurrent sessions, access to the exhibit hall, electronic conference handouts and the Wednesday evening networking reception. Additional registration for the Thursday evening President's Recognition Luau is required. Save money and take advantage of early bird discounts and multi-attendee pricing! Early bird pricing offers about a 5% savings over regular conference rates and is available to all registrants, regardless of membership status, simply by registering on or before Thursday, April 27, 2023. Organizations that register 2 or more individuals qualify for an additional discount of approximately 10% so bring your team and save! (To take advantage of multi-attendee pricing, at least one of your attendees must be a WASBO member.)

*At least one individual from your organization must be a WASBO member to take advantage of multi-attendee pricing. If the multi-attendee pricing option is selected erroneously (i.e. you are the only registrant from your organization), you agree to be billed for the difference in registration fees. Fees above are priced per person.
**Individuals registering at the Non-Member rate for the Full Conference, Thursday or Friday only receive a free trial membership through 6/30/2024 if they have not previously been a member.

Cancellation Policies

All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellations received prior to May 4 will receive a full refund. Cancellations received May 5-May 10 will receive a refund of their registration fees, minus $95 per cancelled day, up to $190 for a full conference cancellation. No refunds will be made for cancellations received on or after May 11 or for no shows at the conference. Cancellations can be emailed to [email protected].

Special conference hotel rates have been negotiated with the Madison Marriott West for Tuesday through Thursday nights, May 9 through May 11, 2023. You will be quoted a room rate of $124 for single, double, triple or quad occupancy on Tuesday through Thursday nights.

To make your hotel reservations at these discounted rates, contact the Marriott directly at 1.888.745.2032 or reserve your room online on or before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.  Be sure to ask for the "Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials Spring conference 2023" room block.

If you are sales tax exempt in Wisconsin, please be sure to bring BOTH your tax exempt form and a completed Wisconsin S211 and present them when checking in.  Unfortunately, Wisconsin state statute requires the Madison Marriott West to collect sales tax for tax-exempt organizations from out of state.
