Kalahari Convention Center
A limited number of rooms are available at special conference hotel rates with the Kalahari Convention Center for July 14-16, 2020. You will be quoted a room rate of $129 for a single, double, triple or quad rooms.
To make your hotel reservations at these discounted rates, contact the Kalahari directly at 877.253.5466. Be sure to ask for the WASBO Conference room block. The deposit policy for hotel reservations is one night (plus tax) at the time reservations are made. Hotel cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to arrival receive a full refund less $25 processing fee. Less than 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival forfeits the entire deposit.
If you are sales tax exempt in Wisconsin, please be sure to bring BOTH your tax exempt form and a completed Wisconsin S211 and present them when checking in. Unfortunately, Wisconsin state statute requires the Kalahari to collect sales tax for tax-exempt organizations from out of state.
Kalahari Hotel Check-In
In order to expedite your on site hotel check-in at the Kalahari:
- If you are sales tax exempt in Wisconsin, please be sure to bring BOTH your tax exempt form and a completed Wisconsin S211 and present them when checking in.
- Bring the credit card the room was charged to. If
the card is not in your name, you should bring a "Letter of
Authorization" form which was completed by the cardholder in your
district.
- If you are using a purchase order, bring a copy of the purchase order.
Cancellation Policy
No refunds will be made for cancellations received on or after July 7 or for no shows at the conference, whether participants selected an in-person or virtual attendee registration. We will record sessions and provide registered attendees with recorded sessions.
