Network on Wednesday, May 13, with district professionals and those who provide products and services to Wisconsin schools, then join us for two days of powerful professional development at the WASBO Foundation Spring Conference & Exhibits. WASBO offers two different fundraising activities. Golfers have the opportunity to play 18 holes at the scenic Trappers Turn Golf Club, while hikers will head to Devil's Lake State Park.

Note: There is no option to register others for a scholarship fundraiser in order to ensure District Professionals and Service Affiliates adhere to Wisconsin's State Ethics Laws for public employees. WASBO Scholarship Golf Outing

The Scholarship Golf Outing will be held rain or shine, on Wednesday, May 13 at Trappers Turn Golf Club, located at 2955 Wisconsin Dells Pkwy, Wisconsin Dells. Registration check-in is available from 8-9:30 AM, and opportunities to hit on the practice range are available during this time as well.

 The event kicks off with a shotgun start at 9:30 AM sharp, and sixsomes will play a best ball scramble. WASBO Service Affiliate Members sponsor hole events to make this a fun networking opportunity for everyone while we benefit students by raising money for high school senior scholarships. When registering for golf, please indicate any potential partners you would like to be paired with (teams will consist of both school district professionals and service affiliate vendors). Every effort will be made to honor your requests. Teams will have six total players. 

 Registration is $119 and includes 18 holes of golf, range balls, mulligan/putting contest, prizes, cart, lunch, beverages, networking, as well as a late afternoon reception (4:30-6:30 PM) at the Kalahari with beverages, hot hors d'oeuvres, and the awarding of golf prizes. 

WASBO Scholarship Hike

As an alternative to the golf outing on Wednesday, WASBO is offering a new activity - a scenic hike! We invite you to join your colleagues to take in the scenery and enjoy the outdoors at Devil's Lake State Park. Pack your best hiking boots or sneakers!

The group will meet for lunch at the Tumbled Rock Brewery & Kitchen at 11 AM, then proceed together to Devil's Lake State Park. We anticipate the group will return to the Kalahari at approximately 3:30 PM. The hike is approximately 5 miles, and is estimated to take 2.5 hours

 The Spring Hike is a fundraising event supporting WASBO student scholarships. The hike is $63 and includes lunch and water for the hike, as well as a late afternoon reception (4:30-6:30 PM) at the Kalahari with beverages, hot hors d'oeuvres and networking with the golfers and conference attendees. A waiver of liability form will be provided on site for your signature. Participants are encouraged to carpool, as parking is limited. 

Golf Hole Sponsorships

Service Affiliates can sponsor a golf hole at WASBO's Spring Golf Outing for the cost of $350 per golf hole. Register for a hole sponsorship below! The Golf Hole Sponsor Rep Registration and Golf Hole Preference Form will be sent to all sponsors at 8 AM on April 1. Golf holes will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.  Golf hole assignments are final and will be sent to sponsors on April 24, and the golf hole sponsorship window closes at noon on April 24.

In addition to increased visibility during the Spring Fundraisers and Conference, you can volunteer to run a game at your golf hole or play golf with district professionals! If sponsors choose to sponsor a golf hole and play, they will still need to pay the golf registration fees in addition to the sponsorship fees. Even if you can't attend the conference or fundraiser in person, sponsoring a golf hole is a great way to increase your visibility during the event. • Sponsoring volunteers will cover the cost of a golf cart rental.
• Some golf holes may have multiple sponsors.
• Only two reps are allowed per hole. If more than two representatives volunteer at a golf hole, companies must pay to sponsor an additional hole.
• All golf hole sponsors must bring their own materials (including tables, chairs, and tents) and may not provide food, beverages, or alcohol to golfers, per the policies of both WASBO and the Golf Course.
