The 2020-21 school year will be an “open beta” for WISEdata Finance, an opportunity for school business professionals, software vendors, and the DPI School Financial Services Team to begin accessing and working with the system directly. Learn about goals and next steps as we prepare for the formal statewide launch of WISEdata Finance in the fall of 2021.

In response to the pandemic, the federal government passed the FFCRA providing paid leave to all school employees in certain situations. Schools districts must understand the complexities and nuances of this new law, including the potential effects the expiration of this law might have on districts. Additionally, the interplay between FFCRA leave and traditional unpaid FMLA leave creates further complexity. Using practical hypothetical situations, this session is designed to help you navigate the challenges posed by FFCRA and FMLA leave.
