"Emerging Risk and Trends in Schools" is a New Update Option for CSRM and CISR designees. It's a dynamic 7-hour classroom course designed for school risk managers, K-12 and higher education administrators, and insurance professionals who have schools as clients.
This
course covers a variety of emerging and evolving risks as well as
trends that are affecting the education sector and could have a major
impact on your institution's reputation and budget.
The first installment of Emerging Risks and Trends includes the following topics:
- Classification and Identification of Emerging Risks
- The Opioid Epidemic and the Workers' Compensation Budget
- Cyber Risks for School Risk Managers
The Emerging Risks and Trends in Schools course comes with 7 insurance CE hours
in Wisconsin. The cost for the session is $201.
Continental breakfast and lunch are
provided for an additional $21 per session as a convenience to
participants as schedule constraints provide very limited time for meals
on your own.
The structure is similar to the CSRM
courses with seven hours of instruction. This specialist course can be taken by anyone.
CSRM and CISR designees may earn update credit by attending the Emerging Risks and Trends in Schools
course.
