Registration Rates & Cancellation Policies

WASBO Foundation Spring Conference registration rates include general & concurrent sessions, access to the exhibit hall, electronic conference handouts, the Wednesday evening networking reception, and Thursday's reception in the exhibit hall. Additional registration for the Thursday evening Roaring 75th Celebration is required.

Save money and take advantage of early bird discounts and multi-attendee pricing! Early bird pricing offers about a 5% savings over regular conference rates and is available to all registrants, regardless of membership status, simply by registering on or before Thursday, May 5, 2022. Organizations that register 2 or more individuals qualify for an additional discount of approximately 10% so bring your team and save! (To take advantage of multi-attendee pricing, at least one of your attendees must be a WASBO member.)

*At least one individual from your organization must be a WASBO member to take advantage of multi-attendee pricing. If the multi-attendee pricing option is selected erroneously (i.e. you are the only registrant from your organization), you agree to be billed for the difference in registration fees. Fees above are priced per person.
**Individuals registering at the Non-Member rate for the Full Conference, Thursday or Friday only receive a free trial membership through 6/30/2023 if they have not previously been a member.

Hotel Accommodations

Special conference hotel rates have been negotiated with the Kalahari Resort & Conference Center for Monday through Saturday nights, May 16 through May 21, 2022. You will be quoted a room rate of $129 for single, double, triple or quad occupancy on Monday through Thursday nights. If you'd like to extend your stay to Friday and/or Saturday night the rate is $159.

To make your hotel reservations at these discounted rates, contact the Kalahari directly at 877.253.5466 or reserve your room online on or before Saturday, April 16, 2022.  Be sure to ask for the "WASBO 2022 Foundation Spring Conference & Exhibits" room block. The deposit policy for hotel reservations is one night (plus tax) at the time reservations are made. Hotel cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to arrival receive a full refund less $25 processing fee.  Less than 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival forfeits the entire deposit. 

If you are sales tax exempt in Wisconsin, please be sure to bring BOTH your tax exempt form and a completed Wisconsin S211 and present them when checking in.  Unfortunately, Wisconsin state statute requires the Kalahari to collect sales tax for tax-exempt organizations from out of state.

Kalahari Hotel Check-In
In order to expedite your on site hotel check-in at the Kalahari:

1. If you are sales tax exempt in Wisconsin, please be sure to bring BOTH your tax exempt form and a completed Wisconsin S211 and present them when checking in.
2. Bring the credit card the room was charged to. If the card is not in your name, you should bring a "Letter of Authorization" form which was completed by the cardholder in your district.
3. If you are using a purchase order, bring a copy of the purchase order.

 

Cancellation Policies

All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellations received prior to May 12 will receive a full refund. Cancellations received May 12-May 18 will receive a refund of their registration fees, minus $85 per cancelled day, up to $170 for a full conference cancellation. No refunds will be made for cancellations received on or after May 19 or for no shows at the conference. Cancellations can be emailed to [email protected].
