Terms and Conditions
The Investing in Wisconsin Public Schools Map Kits (the large visual image, the questions, peripheral exercise cards and the Coach's Guide booklet) are proprietary and copyrighted. They were licensed for the Wisconsin Association of School Business Official's use from the owner of the materials - Edventures in Learning, Inc. of Toledo, OH. Upon acceptance of these terms and conditions and purchase of the Map Kit(s), your school district is granted a license to use these materials as follows:
You are granted an exclusive, royalty-free and perpetual license to use the Investing in Wisconsin Public Schools Map Kit(s) with your district's employees, students, parents and related stakeholders for your school district's purposes. With this license you will have the right to use the(se) Map Kit(s) as you deem appropriate within your school district. In addition, your school district may share your Map Kit(s) with other Wisconsin school districts that also own at least one kit and have at least one trained table coach. Any time a Map Kit is used, it must be facilitated by a trained Table Coach.
Lists of districts that own the Investing in Wisconsin Public Schools map kits and trained table coaches are available on the WASBO website.
Under this license YOU MAY NOT DO ANY OF THE FOLLOWING as these are rights reserved solely for Edventures in Learning, Inc.:
- Reproduce or make copies of Investing in Wisconsin Public Schools Map Kit(s), including but not limited to the map, images, exercises, and handbooks. All of these materials are copyrighted.
- Make derivative works of copyrighted Investing in Wisconsin Public Schools Map Kit(s). For example, you cannot make modifications of the materials, artwork, images or exercises provided in the Map Kit(s).
- Transfer ownership or resell Investing in Wisconsin Public Schools Map Kit(s).
Further, you understand and agree:
The purchase of one or more Investing in Wisconsin Public Schools Map Kit(s) requires that at least one member of your school district staff must be trained as a Table Coach by WASBO at a charge of $100 per individual trained. Training is not included in the purchase price of the Investing in Wisconsin Public Schools Map Kit(s). This training will occur at a mutually convenient and agreed upon time and location to be negotiated with your school district staff after the purchase of the Investing in Wisconsin Public Schools Map Kit(s). Under no circumstances may your school district use these materials without a WASBO -trained Table Coach present to at each Map Kit table to facilitate the small group discussion.
Investing in Wisconsin Public Schools Map Kit(s) purchased through WASBO will be provided to your school district staff at his/her/their Table Coach training session. Investing in Wisconsin Public Schools Map Kit(s) will not be provided prior to Table Coach training under any circumstances.
As updates are required to Investing in Wisconsin Public Schools Map Materials to address factual, legislative or other data changes, they will be made available for your school district to purchase at production cost.
