Leveraging Technology Academy

AWSA, WASBO & WASDA host the Leveraging Technology for Educational Excellence Academy

We thank Brisk Teaching for sponsoring all five of our 2026-27 Leveraging Technology Academies!

The Leveraging Technology for Educational Excellence Academy is a professional learning program jointly sponsored by WASBO, WASDA, and AWSA. This academy is supported through a partnership with Waukesha County Technical College. It is designed to equip teams of Wisconsin school and district leaders with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into education effectively and responsibly. The academy combines in-person learning sessions, virtual check-ins, and hands-on labs that emphasize the practical applications of AI to improve both system-level strategy and day-to-day administrative efficiency. Participants work collaboratively to assess their readiness, map current practices, explore innovative tools, and develop sustainable AI integration blueprints tailored to their districts. By blending strategic planning, tool exploration, and leadership development, the academy ensures that leaders leave with not just knowledge but also a clear, actionable plan for advancing their district’s AI vision.

Please note that each site can accommodate a maximum of six districts. If more than six districts sign up, we will notify the waitlisted districts.
