Registration Rates & Cancellation Policies

WASBO Accounting Conference registration rates include electronic conference handouts. Take advantage of both early bird discounts and multi-attendee pricing! Early bird pricing offers about a 5% savings over regular conference rates when you register on or before Friday, March 8, 2024. Organizations that register 2 or more individuals qualify for an additional discount of approximately 10% so bring your team and save! (To take advantage of multi-attendee pricing, at least one of your attendees must be a WASBO member.)

*At least one individual from your organization must be a WASBO member to take advantage of multi-attendee pricing. If the multi-attendee pricing option is selected erroneously (i.e. you are the only registrant from your organization), you agree to be billed for the difference in registration fees.
**Individuals registering at the Non-Member rate receive a free trial WASBO membership through 6/30/2025 if they have not previously been a member.

 

Cancellation Policy

Full refund of fees will be made on Accounting Conference cancellations received IN WRITING on or prior to March 12, 2024. Cancellations may be emailed to [email protected]. For Accounting Conference cancellations received on or after March 13, 2024 through March 19, 2024 WASBO will retain $95 per cancelled day to cover food costs. No refund will be issued for cancellations received on or after March 20, 2024 or no shows at the conference.

 

Hotel Accommodations

Special conference hotel rates have been negotiated with the Madison Marriott West for Tuesday, March 19, through Thursday, March 21. You will be quoted a room rate of $134 per night for Tuesday or Wednesday nights.

To make your hotel reservations at these discounted rates, contact the Madison Marriott West directly on their website or by calling 1.888.745.2032 on or before Friday, March 8, 2024.  Be sure to ask for the "Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials Accounting Conference 2024" room block. The deposit policy for hotel reservations is one night (plus tax) at the time reservations are made. Hotel cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to arrival receive a full refund less $25 processing fee.  Less than 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival forfeits the entire deposit. 

If you are sales tax exempt in Wisconsin, please be sure to bring BOTH your tax exempt form and a completed Wisconsin S211 and present them when checking in.
