WASBO Foundation Fall Conference
WASBO's 2021 Fall Conference will be attended by over 300 school business officials, facility directors and other critically important school support staff. The purpose of the Fall Conference is to provide challenging and relevant professional development to all areas of our membership.
The WASBO Fall Conference Committee values the input of the membership as they work to create a dynamic conference schedule for the 2021 WASBO Foundation Fall Conference October 7-8 at the Osthoff Resort & Conference Center, Elkhart Lake, WI. Please complete the form below to nominate a colleague and/or suggest a topic you would like to see presented at the Fall Conference. Final programming decisions are made by the planning committee. Submissions will be accepted through July 31, 2021.
The Osthoff Resort & Conference Center is one of our most popular conference destinations - attendees enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, beautiful scenery and amenities in the area. Many stay for the weekend following the conference to capitalize on the fall colors and many seasonal activities available nearby.
Selection criteria includes, but is not limited to:
- presentation fits the educational criteria for those responsible for business office functions in Wisconsin public school districts
- presentation fits one of these tracks:
- Leadership & Wellness
- Trending Topics, including: Auxiliary Services, Facilities and Advocacy
- Best Practices, Money Saving Ideas, Innovative Solutions & Communications
Although all submissions will be considered, the committee has noted the need for sessions specific to the topics listed above and will be prioritizing these topics.
The committee will begin building the schedule, to include Year of Success and Facilities Manager Core Certification sessions, prior to reviewing nominations. Nominations will be used to complete the schedule after the committee has filled in the sessions they know are needed based on their experience in districts, as well as their interactions with their peers.
