Registration Rates & Cancellation Policies

WASBO Foundation Spring Conference registration rates include general & concurrent sessions, access to the exhibit hall, electronic conference handouts and the Wednesday evening networking reception. Additional registration for the Thursday evening Quest for Networking Reception is required. Save money and take advantage of early bird discounts and multi-attendee pricing! Early bird pricing offers about a 5% savings over regular conference rates and is available to all registrants, regardless of membership status, simply by registering on or before Thursday, May 2, 2024. Organizations that register 2 or more individuals qualify for an additional discount of approximately 10% so bring your team and save! (To take advantage of multi-attendee pricing, at least one of your attendees must be a WASBO member.)

**Individuals registering at the Non-Member rate for the Full Conference, Thursday or Friday only receive a free trial membership through 6/30/2025 if they have not previously been a member.

Cancellation Policies

All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellations received prior to May 9 will receive a full refund. Cancellations received May 10-May 15 will receive a refund of their registration fees, minus $95 per cancelled day, up to $190 for a full conference cancellation. No refunds will be made for cancellations received on or after May 16 or for no shows at the conference. Cancellations can be emailed to [email protected].

Hotel Accommodations

Special conference hotel rates have been negotiated with the Kalahari Resort & Conference Center for Monday through Saturday  nights, May 13 through May 18, 2024. You will be quoted a room rate of $139 per night for Monday through Thursday nights. If you wish to stay over on Friday and Saturday, you will be quoted a rate of $169 for those nights.

To make your hotel reservations at these discounted rates, contact the Kalahari directly at 877.253.5466 or reserve your room online on or before April 13, 2024.  Be sure to ask for the "WASBO Spring Conference 2024" room block. The deposit policy for hotel reservations is one night (plus tax) at the time reservations are made. Hotel cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to arrival receive a full refund less $30 processing fee.  Less than 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival forfeits the entire deposit. 

NEW Kalahari Hotel Check-In

In order to ensure a successful check-in at the Kalahari, there is now a dedicated team that approves completed Letters of Authorization forms, Tax Exemption forms with completed WI S211, and Purchase orders to ensure validity prior to attachment to the reservations before check-in. All forms should be submitted no later than 7 days in advance of your stay to Kalahari at [email protected] or fax them to 608-254-6116. Failure to follow this procedure may result in full room and tax charges to the attendees on their personal cards; since the Front Desk will not accept these forms at check-in.
